Refer a friend or colleague - Terms and Conditions

Essential Educational Staffing refer a friend or colleague scheme gives individuals the opportunity to earn 4,000 Baht bonus for themselves for the teacher they refer once the person referred completes 30 full days with Essential Educational Staffing or has been appointed to a permanent role through our service. There are no restrictions on the number of referrals an individual can make.

Qualifying for a referral bonus

The referred candidate must

• Be currently living in Thailand and able to attend in person, interviews and demo lessons.
• Be referred before on or at the point of interviewing.
• Not having registered or applied to be register before the referral is submitted.
• Not having been referred by another person. Only one person can submit a referral for an individual prospective teacher.
• Have a Bachelors degree.
• Have an active Thai visa.
• Be from the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland or New Zealand. Unfortunately we are unable to accept non-native speaking English teachers or anyone over the age of 65.

The referrer must

• Not be a consultant, resource or member of the Senior Leadership team with Essential Educational Staffing.
• Obtain the permission of the teacher or support worker they are referring. The referee will indemnify our service for any claim arising out of the referee’s failure to procure such consent.

Claiming and paying a referral bonus

• The referrer must contact the service to claim their bonus once the candidate has completed the required conditions.
• Be referred and complete a minimum of 30 full days within a given 12 months period or be appointed to a permanent role through Essential Educational Staffing.
• The referral bonus must be claimed within 6 months of the qualifying period.
• Any candidate who is registered with our service who are eligible for a bonus will have it paid through Essential Educational Staffing and will be subject to PAYE deductions. No cash or voucher payments are available.
• The referral bonus detailed in this scheme is a gross payment. Essential Educational Staffing will not be responsible for any taxes as required by law arising from the receipt of the bonus.

Additional terms and conditions

• The scheme applies to referrals made on or after 1st October 2020 and permanent recruitments made on or after 1st September 2020.
• Essential Educational Staffing reserves the right to terminate or amend this scheme at any time.
• Essential Educational Staffing will determine the eligibility for this bonus in each case and our decision is final.
